Trail rides consist of approximately 1hr to 1-1/2 hr (depends on pace) of guided riding on a pre-selected horse through the beautiful trails at Don Carter State Park. A minimum of 2 riders and a maximum of 4 riders per group. A Single Rider Can Sign Up 'IF' There Is A Group Already Going. If Group Over 4 is Needed We could Possibly Add By Request.Take in all the sounds of the woods while bonding with a special equine buddy and see nature in all its splendor.Before you ride off, things you need to know:$5 Park Pass required
Meet in Equestrian Trail Parking lot to the left of Entrance Gate Weight limit is 275lbs per rider
Weight Scale A- 50-120lbs
B-120-175lbs, C-175-225lbs, D-225-275lbsRider should wear pantsRider should wear a boot with a heel or tennis shoes or closed toe shoeDepending on season bug repellent is recommended
A Bottle of Water will be provided 1 per Rider and a Small Saddle Bag to carry Water/Cell Phone/Camera at your own responsibilityHelmets will be provided, EVERYONE is required to wear a helmet
Riders 8 yrs and older may ride alone
Buddy seats are available for a child rider between 3-7 yrs at additional cost. Child cannot exceed 50lbs for buddy seat.
